Mix two cups of milk with one cup of honey in a foot basin or bath. Soak feet for 10 minutes while messaging mixture into the feet. Results are super soft and smooth feet.
LAVENDER HAND AND FOOT WASH
YOU’LL NEED:
1/2 cup dried lavender flowers
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh sage
small amount of lavender oil
In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of dried lavender flowers, 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh sage and two cups water. Simmer, covered, on low heat for 20 minutes. Strain mixture through cheesecloth and let
cool. Discard the solids, retain the liquid. Add lavender oil, shake to emulsify and then apply to hands and feet with a soft wash cloth or cotton pads. Repeat as necessary and this wash will relieve red and inflamed hands and feet.
CUTICLE RX
YOU’LL NEED:
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp. pineapple juice
small amount of lemon juice
small amount of lemon essential
oil
1 orange wood stick
To pamper your poor cuticles mix one egg yolk (soothes skin and nourishes nails) with one tablespoon of pineapple juice (enzymes exfoliate). Then add five drops of lemon juice (acid exfoliates) and one drop of lemon essential oil (an antiseptic). Soak your nails in the mixture for 15 minutes, then gently push back your cuticles with an orange wood stick. This quick at–home recipe will soften and exfoliate your cuticles.
RECIPE FOR THE HAIR
AVOCADO HAIR MASK
(normal to dry hair)
YOU’LL NEED:
1 avocado
Mash one whole avocado until it becomes a creamy texture. Apply to damp hair and let sit for about 20 minutes. Rinse hair well with shampoo and condition if necessary. Results are softer, shinier and bouncy hair.
